ABOUT BROWNO
New Orleans-born visual artist based in Los Angeles
creating art that inspires people to slow down, look within and keep growing.
Bryan Brown, known professionally as Browno, is a New Orleans-born visual artist based in Los Angeles. His work explores mindfulness, healing, personal growth and the beliefs that shape our lives.
Through acrylic and oil painting, illustration and public art, Browno creates visual stories that encourage people to become more present, intentional and aware. His recurring use of clouds, stars, nature and human figures represents the relationship between our thoughts, our environment and the reality we create.
THE JOURNEY
Browno's creative path is deeply connected to his very own mistakes and misunderstanding of himself. Through depression, anxiety and personal transformation, Browno has begun making a significant change in his life through daily reading, meditation, movement and self-awareness.
His mission is simple: create meaningful art that helps people look within, keep growing and bring more intention into the spaces they occupy.
Browno’s work has been exhibited throughout New Orleans and featured in New Visionary Art Magazine, the River Road Juried Exhibition and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. His painting Escaping Troubled Waters was acquired by the New Orleans African American Museum.
Beyond the canvas, Browno brings art, wellness and community together through murals, workshops and Big Brain Lifestyle.
